After sailing around Positano & Mediterranean Sea, Vito came to London and stayed a bit in Primrose Hill & Chelsea. There was just one thing he yearned for. Real Neapolitan Wood-Fired pizza! 

 

Rust Bucket Pizza Co was born.  Vito Marino & his young Family wanted to resurrect the concept of the Market Pizzeria as a celebration of the old traditional historic Neapolitan Pizzeria as a street food. Updating and generating an inspirational modern idea of a Plaza that brings together customers who appreciate simple and imaginative menus created using high quality, authentic ingredients at affordable prices.

 

The flavours, textures and smells of the real thing cannot compare. But there is more to it still...  Vito was also missing the spirit of everything that real pizza is about. Real Ingredients.

 

Unfussy friendly Market Style pizzerias this side of Naples don't worry about fancy decor or elaborate menus. They care about excellent pizza and sharing good times. You see people from all walks sitting down or queuing together to let your senses enjoy an explosion of flavour some say “the best they ever had in their life”. Real pizza is a unifier!

 

Vito Marino wanted to share this and opened the first of our pop ups in the Royal Borough of Greenwich in Woolwich next to the town Hall. It was an instant hit, the Rust Bucket Pizza Co team were soon making 1000 pizzas every weekend! To the point that Local Markets & Local pub owners asked Vito and his team to move into their pubs. Ever since, we have been sharing the spirit of real Neapolitan pizza at our pop ups around South East London bringing a new life to local neighbourhoods. 

 

Staying true to our Neapolitan roots we know the most delicious pizzas in the world can only be crafted using the finest produce available and that the dough is truly a craft of masters.
